Finally uploaded some pix, Part 2

These are some awesome cards and creations I've received from some of my blogging sisters. This first beautiful card is from Mama. She does some amazing work and if you haven't visited her blog yet, you need to get there quickly! Mama also included the thoughtful phone charm at a time that I really needed it. Thanks so much GF, your thoughtfulness really means a lot to me!

These next bunch of goodies is from Joy. Mini notebook, note card, and image holder, all made in my favorite color. Thanks Joy!

Can you guess who these creations are from? If you guessed Cami, you're absolutely correct! Cami's creations are always so well put together and beautiful! Thanks for the party favors Cami!

I hope you've enjoyed looking at all these awesome creations. As I've said in a previous post, I'm not bragging about these things that I've received, but want to showcase the talent of all these extremely creative women! Thanks for visiting!

Finally uploaded some pix, Part 1

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend! Ours was filled with anxiety, anticipation, stress, and finally relief. Thankfully, our island home was spared by the tsunami generated by the devastating earthquake in Chile. I can't even begin to imagine how our lives would've changed if we had been hit. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those in Chile.

Aside from the tsunami, I had a chance to upload some pictures that I wanted to share with you. This first batch is from "The Joy of Crafting" live studio audience taping. I was able to snap a pic of Joy S., the hostess, with Cheryl, a local paper crafting celeb. Check out their blogs when you have a chance!

These are the goodies I got!

Cool huh? I had such a fun time! I believe the show will be airing sometime in March, just check Joy's blog for the dates and times. Thanks Joy, I had a blast meeting you!

Part 2 of my pictures is next. I hope you stay with me!

February OCS

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm so happy it's the middle of the week. We can now start the countdown to the weekend! Short post tonight before I head off to bed. I finally decided to re-join Teri's monthly OCS. If you're new to this event, you can check out Teri's blog here for more information. So this month, I was pleasantly surprised to be paired up with Joy D., of Tamiko's! Joy's fav color is blue, so I decided I would use that as my color scheme. It's also been a while since I made a shaker card, so I decided it was time to use my MS microbeads that I bought at the end of last year. The image and sentiment are from The Greeting Farm's set "Amazing Duo". Here's what I came up with ...

A close up of the shaker part ...

Thanks for stopping by and for always leaving such wonderfully kind comments! I read every one of them and they all make me smile! Until next time, take care and be safe. Aloha ...

Long overdue posts - Part 1

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a good week so far. Can you all believe its the last week of February?!? I don't know where the time has gone. The next several posts will be filled with cards I've received, along with some of my creations. Let's begin ...

I managed to make several Christmas cards with sweet Vivi from TGF. One in blue and one in red.

I used this Puffy 3-D glue on Vivi's hat. It comes out as a liquid and when you heat it, it puffs up! It's really cool to work with. Thanks for looking and I hope you'll come back for Part 2!

Who's "crushing" on me?

Space Ian, that's who! I recently added him to my "collection" of TGF stamps. He is such a cutie, don't you think? And he was really easy to color too. I got him through my GF's on-line store. You can get him here, at Tamiko's, along with lots of other fabulous goodies! Check her out when you can ... free shipping on orders of $25.00 or more. What a deal!

By the way, I also used the Post-it Brand Craft Paper on this card. It is super easy to use and although it doesn't feel sticky, I find that it adheres very well. For the Oahu crafters, you can find the Post-it Brand Craft Paper on sale now at Fisher Hawaii. And in case you hadn't heard, this product has been endorsed by Cricut! Give it a try if you get a chance.

That's my post for today. Thanks for sticking with me and I hope to be more productive in the near future! Happy Aloha Friday and have a wonderful weekend!
