Here's my card for the July SSS - the theme this month was to use flowers. I sure hope my secret sister likes this card because to tell you the truth, I was a little intimidated to get her! Anyhow, I used another Maggie stamp that had never seen ink (still have quite a few more to use) and I'm quite happy with the way my card turned out.
Now, on to other news ... for personal reasons, I resigned from the Cricut Craft Room DT. I met some wonderful and talented ladies there and even though it's time to move on, I will definitely be finishing my scrapbook of my fur babies!!! :-) Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to have more crafts to post soon. Until then, take care.

Anniversary card
I made this card for my husband's uncle and aunty who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this month. Isn't that such a huge accomplishment? I'm celebrating my 27th wedding anniversary on August 11th - can't believe I've been married that long! The time just flew by ... So I made this card using the Pagoda Cricut cart. I didn't take a very good picture, but I used vellum for the sheer part of the screen. I'm very happy with the way the card turned out.
The cherry blossoms were cut using a brand new die that I got at the Rubber Stamp Expo a few weeks ago. Brian, from Photo Craft in Honolulu, is the designer of the die! It is so beautiful!
Well, that's it for now. I'm off to do some crafting. My latest interest is mini albums. I've joined this awesome "Ning" called Mini Album Scraps. Here's a link to their site and I hope you can join me there - tell them Linda from Hawaii sent you! I don't get anything, but they are a relatively new Ning and everyone there has been so nice! Thanks for visiting and see you soon!

St. Jude's Cards - Part 1
Here are some cards I made for the St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital card drive that Erica is having. Check out her blog for more details. Erica extended the deadline so now you have until the end of August to send your handmade cards to her.
The drive is named "Sunshine and Smiles" and I sure hope these cards will bring exactly that to those sweet kids at St. Jude's. Thanks for stopping by!

July Card and Tag Swap (CATS)
My GF Joy is the hostess for the monthly CATS. Here are my card and tag for July - the only requirement was to use red, white and blue. I used my brand new Kiyomi stamp from Sister Stamps! Isn't she cute?
Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back soon with more card creations!

Theme Day Thursday at My Cricut Craft Room
It's Theme Day Thursday over at My Cricut Craft Room. Today's theme is "PETS". If you follow my blog, you know we have our fur baby, Maui. But did you know that we also have a bird? His name is Larry ... yeah, Larry Bird. LOL! Anyway, since today's theme is Pets, I decided to make a scrapbook page of these two guys. Here's what I came up with ...
Because I'm still new to scrapbooking, my layout is pretty simple, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I also printed the pictures in B&W so it would be a little bit easier to put these two guys on the same page. Maui's green eyes wouldn't match the colors I chose. A lot of the gals on Erica's DT create scrapbook layouts, so I decided my personal goal as part of her DT, would be to finish an 8x8 scrapbook of our pets.
These are the items used for this page: Paper from DCWV, Stampin' Up, and scraps; flowers from Kaisercraft and All Natural Accents, brads from stash, MS and SU punches. "Cool Cat" and "You're Tweet" cut at 2.25" from the Cricut carts "MEOW" and "3 BIRDS ON PARADE".
Thanks for stopping by and until next time, take care!

100 Cartridge Secret Surprise Blog Hop!
It's finally here! The day I can finally share the news I've been wanting to share with all of you! I have been asked by Erica to be on the design team for My Cricut Craft Room! Wowee! Thank you so much Erica! I will do my very best to create amazing projects for you and all our followers! Now, on to the Blog Hop. You should have come from Mayra Alonso's blog, but if not, click here to start at the beginning at Erica's My Cricut Craft Room. The HOP this month was specifically for the DT to be announced so there wasn't any theme. However, the SECRET SURPRISE has to do with our fearless leader, Erica! So, in case you didn't already guess, she's getting married TODAY! Congratulations girl! We are all so happy for you and hubby, and of course for Bella!
So I made these projects with Erica's wedding in mind. First up, a cute purse from the FOREVER YOUNG cart. I imagined this as Bella's little purse. The DP is from Stampin' Up, and the flower was cut with an exclusive SU Sizzix die.
Next up is a little 3x5 memo pad. The DP is from DCWV and I used the FOREVER YOUNG cart again for the sassy lady and sentiment which says "FASHIONISTA". I thought this would be a cute little bridal shower favor!
Lastly is a matchbox made from the TAGS, BAGS, BOXES, AND MORE cart. The DP is from DCWV and the butterflies are cut from a C.C. Designs die.
I imagined this could be used as pretty wedding favors. That's it for my projects - I hope you liked them! Now, hop on over to Lucinda's blog here and be sure to continue hopping until the end for some great blog candy! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Happy 4th of July everyone!
