Hey everyone - hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Just a quick post to share a thank you card I made this weekend. Papers are from SU and DCWV, stamps from Two Scoops Rice Designs and Whimsy Stamps, trim from a sweet friend, and flowers from my stash. I colored the image with my Copics and used Glossy Accents on the strawberries, although it's hard to see it.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! Until next time, take care and enjoy your life!

Blog Award!
I was given this wonderful blog award by four awesome crafters (Cyndi, Kris, Mimi and Laura). Thank you so much ladies! This means a lot to me!

The award is a 'share-the-love' arrangement, given to inspirational bloggers with less than 200 followers. These awards give small bloggers some well deserved recognition for their creations. Here are the rules:

Resin Flowers
Hi everyone - hope you're having a good week so far. I made a batch of resin flowers using Ice Resin from Art Beads. You can find it here. I also used molds that I purchased from Mold Muse on Etsy. They are here. For the color, I used Adirondack alcohol ink and I also mixed some glitter in. Most of the flowers are roses, but there are also two sakura flowers. Did I say cherry blossoms on my video? Either way, they are the same flowers.
The side view of the rose - not too high.
Top view of the rose.
Super close up of the rose - can you see the glitter?
Side view of the sakura/cherry blossom.

These are super easy to make and this particular type of resin doesn't have an odor. I've been trying my best to hold off on purchasing any more molds for my deco den "habit", but I think I'm gonna cave. I have several in my Etsy cart just waiting to be bought! For those molds, I'm gonna be venturing into the world of CLAY! Oh my goodness ... until next time, take care and stay healthy!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Whether you are planning to spend this day with your significant other, child, extended family, or friends, may you all be blessed with much LOVE! Here is a simple wall hanging I made after being inspired by a Ustream class taught by Becky of Scrap-Tastic! Check out her store - she's got tons of craft supplies at awesome prices, and she has a Ustream class most every Sunday afternoon (evening if you're on the mainland). Like her Facebook page here for more info.
For my project I wanted it to look romantic and serene. The paper, scallop edge sticker, and sentiment tags are from Webster's Pages, most of the flowers and all of the leaves are from a LSS, the tulle is from Wal-Mart and the pearl trim is from Karlas001's etsy store. You can't really tell, but I edged all the tickets and the entire hanging with Distress Ink in Gathered Twigs.
As I look at the flowers now, I should have added a light mist of glitter to make them sparkle a bit. I think I'll do that. Other than that, I'm happy with the way my first wall hanging came out. Thanks for stopping by today and hope you'll be back soon! Until next time, take care, be safe and SMILE!

Handmade Flower Swap & I'm Back in Blogland!
Hey everyone - hope you're having a good week so far. I've decided that my blog has been neglected for far too long and I need to start reconnecting with Blogland. So, if you see me commenting on your posts, don't have a heart attack! I'm just trying to get back into creating and blogging/commenting. Heehee! AND, I started doing YouTube videos! It's really fun and it's a whole new world for me! Anyhoo, I hope to be reading comments from some familiar followers, as well as the newbies too! On to my post ...
I wanted to share the flowers from the swap I hosted last month on Facebook. These ladies are all very talented and I thank them so much for participating!
See what I mean about talented? Believe it or not, I met all of these ladies through crafting - either Blogland, Facebook or local craft classes. Pretty neat, huh?
By the way, since I've started blogging, I never did a "JUST BECAUSE" blog candy giveaway. I think it's about time, don't you? Let me know what you think and what kind of candy you'd like to win. Well, that's it for now. I have a few more projects to share so I hope you'll come back soon. Until next time, be happy, be safe, and take care!

Changes to JAFF's Valentines Day Blog Hop
Hey everyone - quick update on our blog hop. Instead of having a scavenger hunt for all the layers of the SVG file, Elsa has decided to share all the layers at one time! If you're interested, please visit her blog here for the download. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

The Pride is Celebrating Valentines - Day 2 (SCAVENGER HUNT!!!)
Hey everybody! Welcome to Day 2 of JAFF's mini blog hop "The Pride is Celebrating Valentines"! Today's project is part of a SCAVENGER HUNT the Pride is having. We've all created projects using an SVG file which our head Lioness Elsa designed. Check out my Valentine's Day card below ... see all the layers? This is where the fun begins. Each one of us will have a different "layer" offered on our blogs. But not all on the same day ... hence the "Hunt". Be sure and check our blogs often to see if you've found another layer of the file! If you're interested in getting all layers of the SVG file for FREE, be sure to comment on all our blogs and leave your e-mail address between February 5th and 7th. The SVG file will be sent to you on February 9th, so you can create your own Valentine's Day cards! We hope you all will participate in this Scavenger Hunt - it's gonna be fun! Start the hop at Elsa's blog and continue on until you finish up on mine.
Here are the deets on my card: Red and pink paper from SU, "Love" was cut using some stash paper. I ran the second and third layers through my Big Shot with CB embossing folders. I also handmade the lace base for the flower using a technique I learned from Jules of The Jule Box. Thanks for the inspiration Jules! The red roses were in my stash from a friend (thanks Denise!) and the pearl strand I got at Wal-Mart.
Thanks for stopping by today and I really hope you join us, Just A Few Friends, on our little hunt! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend and until next time, take care.
