MS Society Fundraiser

This is the first of five cards that I'm making for Brenda at Floral Fantasies. The cards will be used as part of a fundraising event for the MS Society at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. I wanted to send her some "summer time" cards, so the rest of the cards will have this theme. This is my Hula Mouse card. Ms. Mouse was a free digi image from Two Scoops Rice Design a few months ago. Thanks, Renae, for this cute image!

Ok, if you've been following my blog, you know that I can't stand to cut out images. Well, well, well! Lookie, lookie, here! Yes, my friends, I decided to try really hard to be patient and learn to cut images. I think this one came out pretty good, considering I'm a newbie to cutting. But, what was I thinking! Look at that skinny tail??? Kyoko, I'll show you the card tomorrow and you can see for yourself that I didn't cut her tail off! LOL! I've been inspired (to cut my images out) by my blogging sisters, Kyoko, Joy and Cami. These ladies are superb "cutters"! Kinda scary, yeah? Keep the sharp objects away from them. Hahahah!

Finally, I used the large dew drops as coconuts on my tree.

Another late night ... that's it for me. I really need to finish the rest of the cards tomorrow. I'll post the finished cards when I'm done. Until then, take care and stay safe. Aloha ...

  7. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU WOMAN ... got to see the card IRL and it is so pretty. If you didn't mention to me about the "rat bite" I wouldn't even have noticed. We are our worst critics! LOL!

  8. That's fine Linda no worries, they have local fund raisers as well and are always more than grateful for any cards I give them, so your's will be very special ones and a real talking topic if they know where they have come from.

    Have a good day.

  9. OMGosh Linda, YOU DID IT! YOU FINALLY CUT AN IMAGE OUT!!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Well, there was nothing to it huh? Okay, so you didn't "cut off" the tail and it's very skinny, so I take my hat off to you for doing an excellent job! I know you still laugh about me cutting off Tilda's antennaes right? LMBO! Great card too! Really, that wasn't too painful right? You did so well, so here's a pat on your back and and "E" for excellence! Hugs aplenty, Cami
