My OCS for March

Good grief ... it's a good thing I didn't play in Teri's OCS for April since I just gave Michelle U. her March OCS yesterday! Heehee! Hope you liked it Michelle and sorry it took so long to make it's way to you! I tried to incorporate some heart shaped beads into the design since Anya is saying "I {heart} STAMPS". I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. What do you think, overdose on the hearts?

I bought a bunch of TGF and C.C. Designs stamps from Tamiko's recently and will be inking ALL of them up real soon! Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I really enjoyed mine because I can't believe it's over already! You know that old saying "time flys when you're having fun"? Geez, I must've had a TON of fun this weekend! Anyhoo, in case you didn't know, it's time for Tamiko's Challenge #2! She's giving away one of my new fav Nestabilities to one lucky winner! Obviously I can't play in the challenge, but here's a card I made for Joy using Nesties, since that's what the challenge requires.

In case you haven't heard, my BFF Kyoko and I will be taking over the duties for Teri's monthly one card swap ("OCS"). This will definitely be a challenge for us but we are definitely looking forward to it and hope that you all will continue to play. Ok, I am so behind on EVERYTHING! I still need to get my papers to my tax man! I have some time left for that, right? With my son's accident, his up-coming high school graduation, and LIFE in general, I've been totally neglecting my blog. So, I'm gonna try really hard to catch up. First lemme start by sharing several awesome birthday cards I received from some great ladies. This first one is from my GF Joy, of Tamiko's. Joy was my OCS partner for February and since she was super busy with her CHA trip, she told me that this was not only my BD card, but my OCS card as well. Isn't it beautiful?

This next cutie patootie BD card is from another Joy. So cute yeah?

This next card isn't a card. It's a box that held some very cool craft supplies and it's from Joni! I love the box Joni - did you have a tutorial on your blog for it? It's a great size for a small gift!

This card is from my GF Cami. It's a very unique card design in that the heart lifts up to reveal the message inside. The square is the base of the card. Check out Cami's blog for more info on this beautiful card.

Happy Release Day!

Hey everybody! Can you believe its April?!? My, oh, my, the time is sure flying by! Hope the weather is getting warmer for all my friends on the mainland! The weather here in the Islands has been just wonderful! Nice and cool which is a welcome change from the usual warm weather. Moving on ... if you didn't already know, TODAY is release day from The Greeting Farm! I made these cards for my GF Joy D., who is the owner of Tamiko's. Head on over to her store here for some great deals, especially the free shipping (US only) on orders of $25 or more! I used the new stamp set called "Buddies", which feature the cuties Oliver and Amelia. Amelia is a gatefold card and I used a ribbon to keep it closed. I'll tell you my "lightbulb" story in my next post.

Tried to get fancy and add a charm on the card. I used to do beading and I totally forgot how to make a simple loop! Hahaha! I need to practice more.
