IT'S TIME! SIGN UP FOR THE JUNE OCS!

Hey friends! I don't know what I was thinking. Obviously I wasn't. Anyhoo, it's time to sign up for the June OCS! You all know the drill: If you want to play in the swap for June, leave a comment on THIS POST. THE DEADLINE TO SIGN UP FOR THE SWAP IS MAY 30th. If this is your first time playing, please leave a comment on this post, AND send me an e-mail with your full name, mailing address and blog address (if applicable).

For this month's OCS, I thought I'd have a "requirement". Don't worry, it's nothing difficult! For your partner's card, use something that is a FAVORITE of yours. It could be your favorite color, favorite image, favorite embellie, whatever you like the best. I hope this "requirement" will help you with your card design! I'm looking forward to seeing all the returning players and hopefully some new ones as well! Enjoy your weekend!

Nothing crafty today ... but the BIG day is finally here!

Happy Aloha Friday everyone! It's been a while since I've posted anything, but hopefully I'll get back to it soon. Thanks for following me and being patient. Today is the day my son graduates from high school. Lots of mixed emotions flowing through me and my family. Excitement, worry, joy, anticipation ... because my son has had his fair share and more of difficulties during his short life, this day is such a blessing to us. My son has been the victim of bullying since he was in the first grade. This followed him all through his school years, even as recent as last month. It's been a very difficult and extremely long journey for him and even more so for me as his mother. Seeing your child so broken and hurt is something I hope none of you mothers will experience. But I guess, that's life. God has been a huge part of my life and I wouldn't have made it without him. My son is finally starting to realize that God is there for him as well, and has been with him during all those difficult moments.

I'm off to start our busy day and night. Take care of yourselves and teach your children well. I know I did and still am. I can't wait to see what the good Lord has in store for my son! Have a great weekend everyone!

My OCS for March

Good grief ... it's a good thing I didn't play in Teri's OCS for April since I just gave Michelle U. her March OCS yesterday! Heehee! Hope you liked it Michelle and sorry it took so long to make it's way to you! I tried to incorporate some heart shaped beads into the design since Anya is saying "I {heart} STAMPS". I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. What do you think, overdose on the hearts?

I bought a bunch of TGF and C.C. Designs stamps from Tamiko's recently and will be inking ALL of them up real soon! Since my "soon" is never really as "soon" as it should be, please head on over to Tamiko's here and check out her great selection of stamps and other goodies. Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I really enjoyed mine because I can't believe it's over already! You know that old saying "time flys when you're having fun"? Geez, I must've had a TON of fun this weekend! Anyhoo, in case you didn't know, it's time for Tamiko's Challenge #2! She's giving away one of my new fav Nestabilities to one lucky winner! Obviously I can't play in the challenge, but here's a card I made for Joy using Nesties, since that's what the challenge requires.

In case you haven't heard, my BFF Kyoko and I will be taking over the duties for Teri's monthly one card swap ("OCS").
