The hair on my furfle girl (purple) got a little bit better.
The next two got better (I think so) ...
Don't mind the blue eye shadow on this one ~ my hubs thought it would look nice. Gee, what year is he living in??? Hasn't he heard that no one wears blue eye shadow anymore??? Hahahah!
And finally my pink girl ... hopefully practice does make perfect. I think I got better as the coloring progressed. What do you think?
Well, I'm off to work in a little while. I'm going to Mamma Mia tomorrow night with my sister (dinner first at Assaggios), then to Jen's Cricut class on Sunday. I need to work on my OCS and my May Aloha RAK too. AND make some "local" cards for Brenda's MS fundraiser (please see the link on my sidebar). Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Until next time, take care of yourselves, be kind to each other, tell your loved ones how much you love them, and be safe out there. Aloha ...
WOW sis, your coloring is getting really GOOD! I still cannot get the technique of the black hair ... my images come out looking like vampires or something to that effect. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, what a cut image and enjoyed reading how you created them. I've never used copic's but lots of people seem too, how do they vary from Marvey's that I use which are basically watercolour ?
ReplyDeleteThank you for adding my MS card call to your blog. And in answer to your question, yes of course - I haven't been feeling great today and it shows in my work so I was not over happy with it, but might grow on me.
Have a good weekend and enjoy the show, it's great.
B xx
oh man...I need help with black hair too! I am trying to plan a get together at my house sometime in June, hopefully...which will be called Copic Fun...then Jodi Lee will host and teach us how to blend all different colors with our copics! all you have to do is bring your own pens! sounds good eh?! you seem to be getting better...I still need truck loads of help! right now I'll stick to brown! have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHey girl, your coloring of black hair is pretty good! Me too, I never thought it would be so hard to color black hair, but like Kyoko said, just the full on black w/o blending makes them look like vampires or something ugly. Jodi has some great tips. I think she was going to do a tutorial for us...stay tuned... xoxo, Teri P.S. Have fun at Mamma Mia! I was going to go, but had to give up my seat last minute to do mommy stuff, I'm so bummed :0
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely Linda, and it does take time to get the colouring right anyway, I was always taught to use the lighter shade first then build up with more colour, anyway love the are quite lovely. love and hugs Shirleyxxxx
ReplyDeleteHi Aunty Linda! It's Cody! I just wanted to say that your crafts are wonderful! I'll have to show you my Cher doll projects! Love you :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the hair coloring, Linda. I can't wait to see you gals on Sunday. Weeee Hooooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't see anything wrong with any of your black hair coloring?! They all look great to me. Have you seen the "I Like Marker" blog by Marianne of Copics? It's everything we need to know about Copics.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the coloring! I still don't have copics, I'm still holding out! Have fun at Jen's!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all of the images! The black hair looks good on all of them. I bet you & Kyoko had fun at Jen's. Have a nice week.
