I can't believe I did this ...

My friend and co-worker Sherri asked a few of us to make some cards for a fundraiser. This is what I decided to do: I used one of my many un-inked Maggies!!! I can't believe I actually did this. But I have to admit that after I finished assembling the last card, it sure felt good! What an accomplishment!

Here's my buddy Maui again, pretending to be crafting with me. I love him!

Thanks for stopping by and this was the last of my long overdue posts. From now on, I'll be posting my current projects! Until next time, take care and be safe.

Thank you gift turned into RAKs

I made this boxed set of note cards as a thank you gift for a friend. It was so easy and quick to put together that I decided to use the same idea to give as RAKs at a craft gathering.

I got the clear boxes from Gina K. Designs. I love Gina K.! Made the RAKs in my favorite color because I didn't know everyone's fave. I hope they liked it.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time, take care.

Simple favors and my buddy

More favor boxes ... these were made for a co-worker who left to await the birth of her first baby. They were made using the Sizzix Box #2 die. While I was putting these together, my buddy Maui decided to join me. He sleeps most of the time, but somehow always seems to visit me when I'm crafting or on the computer. We adopted him last year from the shelter that my son volunteers at.

My crafting buddy ...

That's it for today! Got a few more creations I need to post so please come back again and thanks for stopping by!

Favors

I made these favor box purses for a friend's birthday party back in January. They were pretty easy to make, using the Sizzix Box #2 and SU Top Note Die. There are many versions of this purse on the internet, but my inspiration came from my GF Joy, who made a ton of these last year. I also received one from my GF Kris at Christmas time. Thanks ladies!

These babies were also filled with yummy chocolates & cookies! I wish I took pictures of the delicious Mexican food we had for lunch ... Nevertheless, a good time was had by all! Thanks for visiting today!

Long overdue post - Part 3

I made these skinny notepads for a co-worker's daughter to give away as gifts this past Christmas.

These are RAKs that I made for a get together. I used the Sizzix shaker box die and filled these babies with chocolates.

Have a good week everyone and thanks for stopping by! Still more to share so I hope you'll come back again! Until then, take care.

Long overdue post - Part 2

These are some of the gift card holders I made for an office craft fair in December.

And these are some Hello Kitty notepads I made for another craft fair in November. See? I was creating ... just not blogging! I got the idea from my GF Brenda. Thanks B!

Thanks for visiting and there's still more to share, so I hope you'll come back! Until then, take care.

Looong overdue post - Part 1

Merry Christmas! What? Yah, these are some of the tags I made last year and never got around to posting. I'll be sharing more of the things I've been making in the next few posts. These were my tags for a tag swap organized by my BFF, Kyoko. Close up of my square HK tag and front and back views ... My round HK tags ...

I was very happy with the way they turned out! Thanks for stopping by and will post more tonight so I hope you'll come back! Thanks again for sticking by me and always leaving me such sweet and encouraging comments! Until next time, take care.

O.M.G. - Can you believe I'm posting?!?

Good thing the dates are on the pictures so at least you know I created them months ago and just never posted them. So, here we go: I tried, again, to use that Nestie that I thought was really cute. But yet again, the card came out ugly. Like I said, I "tried". I'm gonna try again - I'm not gonna give up until I can make a pretty card with this Nestie!!!

Valentine's treats for some gals that were at a card class I went to. Simple treat holder I found on Chic 'n Scratch.

Birthday cards I made for some friends - same layout, different colors. How lazy can I be?

It's 12:55 a.m. Better get to bed soon. I'm re-reading ECLIPSE (3rd time) before the movie comes out on the 30th. CAN'T WAIT! Happy Aloha Friday everyone!
