I won!

I can't believe I won something!!! Elena was having a giveaway for these super cute Hello Kitty Halloween ornaments. I don't usually enter blog contests, but I couldn't help but comment on these ornaments! Aren't they the cutest things??? And check out the HK card she made! Thanks so much Elena, I'm still debating on whether or not I'm gonna share these ornaments! Heehee!

Please check out Elena's blog for some very creative projects! Thanks for visiting today!

Another waterfall wonder

Here is my version of the waterfall card that my DF Teri taught me how to make. I just love TGF Spooktacular stamp set! It's so cute! I made this card for a blogging sister on Maui. Hopefully we'll get to meet one day in person!

I think my card turned out pretty good, considering Teri wasn't sitting next to me holding my hand. LOL! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Waterfall wonder

I recently had lunch with some of my crafty friends. Now, we were just supposed to eat and talk story. But, little did we know, a pleasant surprise was planned for us. A while ago Teri and I were talking about the waterfall card and I commented that I would never make that card because it looked so difficult. Well, I was wrong. Teri had made kits for us to complete during our lunch! See what I mean about how sweet and generous she is? This is the card we made:

Isn't this the cutest? Well, because I didn't want to forget how to make this card (even though Teri gave us instructions), I made one that night. THAT card will be in my next post. Thanks, Teri, for showing me that a complicated looking card can actually be simple to make!

Halloween goodies

As promised, here are the Halloween goodie bags I recently received at a gathering with some crafting friends. There sure were a lot of great ideas! Thanks for sharing ladies!!! This first one is from Janette. I got this via special delivery! Because everyone at the party was so "ADD", I didn't realize until I got home that I didn't grab my goodie bag from Jan! She was sweet enough to send it to me in the mail ... thanks Jan!!! When are you gonna start your blog? *wink*

This cutie is from Joy D. It's a candy slider with a full size bar of my favorite chocolate, Hersheys!!! Thanks Joy!
This loaded goodie bag is from Michelle. I should've asked her for her autograph since she was just on "The Joy of Crafting" show on OC16! Great job Michelle! Don't forget to let us know when your next segment is gonna be on!

This super cute bag is from our hostess, Claudette! Thanks so much for hosting the party Claudie! Everything was great - the food, the decorations, and especially the company!

This next goodie bag is from my BFF, Kyoko. The picture does not do this bag any justice! Let me just say that this bag was so huge that she had to fill it with FULL SIZE goodies! Thanks, Sis, you're one crazy gurl!

The cute witch box filled with yummy goodies was from Janis and the Frankenstein Bride box filled with yummy glazed nuts was from Jenny V. Unfortunately, I wasn't (& still haven't) able to finish the BIA calendar Make & Take provided by Janis. I'll post it as soon as I'm able to finish it. Thanks ladies!

This Jack-O-Lantern was made by the talented Jodi. She sure has a lot of patience ... thanks Jodi!

Another loaded goodie bag! This one is from Joy ... thanks for coloring my checkbook cover Joy! BTW, been riding recently? Yee Haw!

This next goodie box is from Teri. I wish you could see this IRL. It's awesome! Check out Teri's blog for a tutorial on this box. Thanks Teri!

This was a make 'n take from Michelle. She makes the cutest HK creations! Be sure to stop by her blog and check her out! Thanks for the M&T Michelle!

Thanks for all these great RAKs ladies! You guys are the best!

Super cute card

I received this super cute card from my DF Teri as a "thank you" for her birthday lunch and present. Unless you're new to Blogland, you already know who Teri is. What you may not know is that she's as sweet and generous in real life, as she is on her blog. She is always sharing her ideas with friends, as well as those in blogland. She's a giver. She gives from her heart and never asks for anything in return. Teri is a wonderfully talented gal, who is very humble. This card is one of Teri's humble creations. When I say this is Teri's creation, I'm talking about the image. Yes, she drew this cute little girl and I was one of the lucky ones to receive her. I have been blessed to have met Teri and am glad to call her my friend.

THANKS, TERI, MY FRIEND, FOR BEING IN MY LIFE.

Halloween treats

Happy Aloha Friday! Hope everyone had a great week and that you're ready for the weekend! I know I am! A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a get together with some crafting friends to share ideas for Halloween goodie bags. I decided to make these, which I cased from Maria Bell. You can check out her tutorial here. They are super simple to make and come together really fast. What I like about it is the size and you can use any kind of handle or topper for the bag. Hope you try it out!

I also wanted to share the lot of Himawari Babies that I received from Cristina Visi, so I made a simple tag which I attached to a Halloween gift bag I bought from Heiko.

These were simple treat bags to make and I hope the ladies enjoyed receiving them. I know I enjoyed receiving all of their wonderful creations! I'll be posting those soon! Thanks for stopping by and have a safe weekend everyone! Take care and Aloha ...

Special cards

Here are some cards that I made for some very special people. This card was for my sweet friend, Jodi. She gave me this cute Kiki La Rue stamp so I inked her up and put this quick card together. I hope she liked it.

This next card is actually a gift card holder which I gave to my dear friend Teri. I learned the technique for the GCH from Teri's class! I'll be making quite a few of these GCHs this year to give away.

Thanks for stopping by today and for always taking the time out to leave comments for me! I really appreciate it! Until next time, take care and be safe. Aloha ...

Quick BIA calendar

I still haven't finished the BIA calendar project from our last gathering or the one from Claudie's gathering. But, I did manage to make this quicky calendar using the Smirk line of DP, two coasters and a mini 2010 calendar. Maybe I'll give this particular calendar to my BFF! Heehee! What do you think?

I'll be posting more creations in the days ahead. Hope you'll come back and visit! Thanks for stopping by!

What? A new craft store? Where?

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful crafting weekend! I wanted to share some info I recently found regarding a new craft store opening soon on Oahu! The name of the store is "Stampin Munchkins" and they are located in the Mililani Town Center. You can check out Cyn's blog here. I live quite a bit away from Mililani, but I'll definitely be checking out this new store when they open in mid November! Good luck, Cyn, and see you soon!

RAKs!

Hi all! I just wanted to share these super cute RAKs I recently received from two super talented Big Island girls. This first one is from Jenny of Hilo. Along with this really cute card came TGF's Hugh stamp! Thank you so much for thinking of me Jenny! I really appreciate it! By the way, the coloring on your card is awesome! Your shading is to die for! I finally started to eat the cookies from your Halloween RAK. OMG - they are so delicious! I may need to take you up on your offer to send me more! LOL!

This next RAK is from Enjoli, also from the Big Island of Hawaii. She is, in my opinion, the Hello Kitty Queen! If you haven't checked out her blog yet, you need to get over there right away! She makes the cutest things! Thanks so much for all the goodies, Enjoli! Hopefully the next time you're in town we can all get together for lunch (no crafting necessary)!

Hope you all had a great day today! Thanks for taking the time out from your busy schedules to visit me. Until next time, take care!

Ugly card

Ok. I know this isn't the best card I've ever made. It's ugly. I'm not even telling you who I gave it to. I'm gonna send her another one to replace this one. You know who you are, so please don't post my card on your blog! I really wanted to use my new Spellbinders die when I made this card. I was also kind of rushing when I made it, so that's why it turned out so bad. I can't believe I actually gave this card to someone! Eeewww! What's worse is that I'm actually showing it to all of you!!! Well, it's the thought that counts, right? My heart was really in the right place, but I don't know where my head or creativity was.

Can anyone give me tips or comments on how to use this particular Spellbinders die? I've watched some of the videos on You Tube, so hopefully my next card using this die will turn out much better than this first one. Thanks for visiting!

Himawari Babies Creations

Here are the RAKs I made for lunch at a friend's house last month. I used the Himawari Babies ("HB") Frankiestein and Pumpkin on the Sizzix french fry box. Super easy to make!

After lunch, I decided that I better make something because whenever we get together to craft, I never make anything! We're always so busy talking story and eating, and we never really get to CRAFT! Heehee! Anyway, I made a bunch of 3x3 note cards using the HB images I had recently received from Cristina Visi. They came together pretty quickly and all I need to do is package them up to give as RAKs or to sell them.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you all had a wonderful day and will visit me again soon! Thanks to all of you who always take the time out to leave me such sweet and encouraging comments. I really appreciate you!

Sweet RAKs

Happy Sunday everyone! Watch any football games today? Not me. I didn't do anything today. I mean NOTHING. If you haven't noticed, I've been slacking. Not that I haven't wanted to post my RAKs and creations, but I've been LAZY. Isn't that such a terrible thing to admit? Well, there you have it. I've been super lazy these past few weeks ... or has it been months? I'll try to be better. I promise. I want to be sure that all my friends who have given me such great RAKs know that I appreciate everything I've received, and that I'm so sorry for not posting them sooner and acknowledging them. Ready? Here we go!

I received this super cute Halloween RAK from Lynelle, at Teri's GCH class. Isn't it the cutest thing? Thanks, Lynelle, for always sharing your RAKs with Teri's students!

This cutie patootie goodie bag is from my GGF Teri. Another super cute RAK, don't you think? I tell you, these gals are so talented!

I also received some sweet treats from Jenny V. and Janis. Sorry, I didn't have a chance to take pictures of those and those treats are loooong gone. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll visit again. I've got lots more to share with you! Have a great week everyone!

I'm still here ...

Happy Aloha Friday! So I haven't been blogging for a while ... but I do have projects to post. I have been so exhausted when I get home at night that all I do is shower and veg out. Haven't even been watching all the new shows that are coming out. Oh! But I saw on the morning news an interview with Alex O'Loughlin of the now canceled "Moonlight" (I loved that show!) and soon to premiere "Three Rivers" (Sunday night on CBS). Looks like a good show - I'll definitely be checking that one out. I'll be back soon ~ I promise! Thanks for stopping by and have a "Rob-licious" weekend!
