Finally ...

So I finally did it. I've created a blog. I know at least one person will be reading it - my BFF Kyoko. At least I hope she will be. Ha ha! Ok, so now that I did it, what shall I do next? I gotta get some sleep. I'm going to Teri's class tomorrow and I still need to pack up all my craft gear. But for now, how's this for a simple card:

Ha ha! The story behind this card is a classic one. Several years ago, when I first started card making, I wanted so badly to create a special card for Kyoko. I must've spent hours looking through magazines and websites for the perfect sketch. I don't know what happened, but I must've had information overload because the only thing I could think of was to put this little "Friend" sticker in the middle of a folded piece of cardstock and call it my card! Hilarious! How much simpler could this have been? Man, did we laugh and laugh! Anyhow, Kyoko sent me a picture of this card today and I thought I'd make it my first post. I can assure you that future posts shouldn't be this bad. I hope some of you can relate to my "brain fart" and that my story has brought a smile to your face. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

Saw the goodies you got from Vegas. Totally jealous you have the Fiskars apron border punch. I want it sooo bad and can't find it here. How do you like the corner punch from EK Success? I'm debating getting it.
